Elon Musk spreads unfounded conspiracy theory about Paul Pelosi attack on Twitter, says ‘a conspiracy is a conspiracy is a conspiracy’
The Tesla founder took to Twitter on Monday to disseminate the unfounded conspiracy theory that Nancy Pelosi was somehow responsible for a series of attacks on her husband, that she was somehow responsible for their divorce.
“What’s the best way to get rid of a president?” Musk wrote. “Be at the top of his/her popularity. Then get rid of him/her. This is how it works.”
Pelosi did not respond to a request for comment.
“So there you have it,” Musk continued. “Nancy Pelosi, a lifelong lefty, got the ‘burden’ of the divorce and the assassination attempt on @realDonaldTrump.”
“Nancy Pelosi has been attacking my company for the last year and is getting very close to destroying my company,” he said, before going on: “If she did, she’s the worst person on it.”
The tweet, which was published in full, appeared a day after President Donald Trump’s visit to the California state capitol.
The tweet is the latest in a series of wild comments by Tesla’s CEO.
Last week, Musk took aim at CNN, in particular its chief Jeff Zucker, whose brand has become synonymous with far-left political bias.
“My first thought was ‘If I’m in Jeff Zucker’s world, I don’t want to be a part of it,’” he said on Twitter.
“My second thought was, ‘If I’m in Jeff Zucker’s world, I don’t want to be a part of it anymore,’” he said.
