BALTIMORE — Police are looking for two suspects after two burglaries in Baltimore County in the last month.

On June 2, 1219 N. Calvert St. was burglarized. A kitchen window had glass blown out.

The owner of a South Baltimore home lost about $800 on his July 7 property taxes, about $350 to a state tax lien.

The first, a day after his home was burglarized, the owner went to police.

“I was shocked. I thought it was a joke because I was getting a ton of calls about it,” said the owner of the burglarized Calvert St. home.

“The owner was trying to go to the (police) station, and they wouldn’t let him go. He said he wanted to go to the sheriff’s department so he could just walk in there.”

The police told the owner to file a report so they’d know. The owner thought the call was a joke.

“But when he got back from the emergency room, he realized all the doors were locked.”

Police were able to track the cell phones from one to the other, with their location data, through the Verizon provider.

“The owner had to contact the police to get the location data.”

The owner went to the house the following day, and discovered the back windows were broken.

“The owner found it very strange because he couldn’t see the inside because of the broken glass.

“He then called me and asked me to come over.”

The owner said he was suspicious of the man who came to the door.
